The Alpharetta Marriott outside of Atlanta has debuted its upgraded public spaces following a refresh from McLean, Virginia-based studio P3 Design Collective and Washington, DC-based architecture practice //3877.
Outfitted with an open floor plan, the new lobby and event spaces have been modernized with elements such as custom rugs and axminster carpeting that complement the warm tonality of the floors and neutral palette. A double-sided sectional anchors the lobby along with a variety of modular furniture, including a built-in communal table that extends out from a decorative floor-to-ceiling panel. Custom metal and wood shelving are installed in the versatile space as well.
//3877 oversaw the merging of the bar and restaurant areas, which are revamped with darker tones and cheeky signage. The tile-based glass bar is topped with custom quartz, while metal mesh doors beautify the bar storage and hexagonal floor tiles complement multi-tonal wallcoverings.
