The San Simeon Pines Seaside Resort in Cambria, California has relaunched following its $4 million renovation as the Oceanpoint Ranch, a Pacifica Hotels property. Spread across nine seaside acres, the resort is set against the backdrop of the Central California coast a short distance from Hearst Castle, local wineries, downtown attractions, and the Piedras Blancas elephant sanctuary.
An outdoor-centric design defines the property, and 27 of the property’s 61 guestrooms have been fully revamped with a modern ranch-chic theme complete with cozy fireplaces and beamed ceilings that mingle alongside bright quilts, plaid headboards, animal print floors, and rich leather accents. The resort also includes a solar-heated pool, woodburning fireplaces, outdoor firepits, and indoor-outdoor gaming options. A grab-and-go F&B concept will be introduced in 2017.
