broughtonHOTELS has unveiled its newest luxury accommodations with the arrival of the Park James Hotel in Menlo Park. The 61-room boutique concept is anchored in the community and culture of Silicon Valley and provides personalized experiences through the meeting of high-tech and high-touch.
Crafted by San Francisco-based firm Parissa O’Connell Interior Design, the hotel embraces a sense of openness to the outdoors with natural woods, rich textures, and immersive light installations. An expedited digital check-in reflects the sophisticated and modern design sensibilities of the project, while subtle Irish nuances are woven in as a nod to the region’s heritage. In addition to the hotel’s indoor-outdoor lobby bar and the signature restaurant Oak + Violet, the O+V Courtyard welcomes guests with an outdoor lounge appointed with communal tables, flexible seating, and Irish throws. Outfitted with numerous modular environments for work, the hotel houses 1,200 square feet of versatile meeting space to accommodate parties large or small.
High-end furnishings complement the soothing, earthly palette across all guestrooms, which can be personalized with in-room tablet controls. Suites boast 180-degree panoramic views and spacious areas also equipped with Murphy beds.
