The Peninsula Beverly Hills has unveiled its redesign following a four-month refresh from locally based design firm Forchielli Glynn. The opulent hotel amplifies its glamour anew with three updated color palettes and contemporary furnishings that offer a luxe, residential feel.
All 195 guestrooms, including 38 suites and 17 private villas, are updated with clean lines, floral-patterned drapery, bright tones, and rich furnishings like sofa beds and ottomans, as well as bedside digital tablets. Each accommodation configuration features its own distinctive color palette as well. A soft peach theme defines standard and grand deluxe guestrooms, which are also endowed with tree-of-life-patterned window dressings, French-inspired bed skirts, coral accents, pale champagne walls, and wool carpeting. Other standard and grand deluxe guestrooms boast blue and white hues inspired by the floral designs of Manuel Canovas, while checked bed skirts and accented panel moldings further perpetuate a French influence. Finally, deluxe, California, superior suites, and villas are crafted with notes of aqua, yellow, and blue as well as large-scale prints of botanicals and pineapples—the international symbol of hospitality.
