Provenance Hotels has announced the Woodlark, a hotel housed within two merged historic buildings in downtown Portland, Oregon. The former, circa-1908 Cornelius Hotel and the Woodlark Building, a retail and office structure from 1912, will be combined to form the 151-room property.
Locally based Staicoff Design Company has envisioned a bright and minimalist open concept with a lighter, more elegant aesthetic than commonly associated with the Northwest city. Artwork will be incorporated into the design, and the property will feature 2,500 square feet of multifunctional meeting space. Former Top Chef contestant Doug Adams will launch his first restaurant, Bullard, on site.
Set to arrive in 2017, the Woodlark will join Provenance’s portfolio of Portland hotels including Hotel Lucia, Hotel deLuxe, and the Sentinel.
