Provenance Hotels has announced plans to launch a new hotel property, Lora, in Stillwater, Minnesota this spring. Designed by Minneapolis-based firm ESG Architecture & Design, the 40-room hotel will anchor the town with a simplistic charm that maximizes both regional history and the natural setting.
The hotel will be outfitted within a historic stone structure that previously served as a brewery upon construction in 1886. The renovation of the site will integrate the brewery’s former caves, vaulted warehouse, and carriage passageways. Accommodations will be installed across three floors with several F&B venues and an inviting lobby. Artwork will also be appointed onsite to pay homage to regional folklore as well as immigrant people.
