The QT Perth has debuted across 18 stories in the Australian city as the first QT Hotels & Resorts location on Australia’s western coast. With influences ranging from vintage high fashion to classic cinema, the urban property is reflective of Perth and the extravagance of the 1980s following a mining boom in the region.
Full of tongue-in-cheek charm, the hotel features the creative collaboration of Alexandria, Australia-based interior designer Nic Graham and Paddington, Australia-based design specialist Shelley Indyk. Graham oversaw the creation of the hotel’s public spaces, while Indyk spearheaded the design for all 184 guestrooms and corridors. The lobby, home to the Santini Bar, Santini Grill, and conference areas, is conceived as a hub for travelers and locals to intermingle. The Santini Bar reflects Perth’s mining roots with a moody black and gold color palette that engages with mirrored wildflowers throughout. The signature Santini Grill is equipped with floor-to-ceiling windows that drench the interior in natural light, illuminating Mediterranean and West Coast references across a warm, patterned atmosphere.
