Radisson Hotel Group has confirmed the signing of six new hotel deals in Egypt. The forthcoming projects will span several Radisson brands, and begin opening as early as this year.
Three Radisson outposts will be launched in Egypt in 2020, including the Radisson Hotel New Cairo in the city’s southeast section. The first Radisson branded hotel in Egypt, the New Cairo property will total 107 accommodations in addition to a restaurant, fitness center, and an indoor swimming pool. The Radisson Blu Hotel & Resort Makadi Bay, Hurghada will arrive in the third quarter of 2020 with 670 guestrooms. Included among the hotel’s extensive facilities will be numerous F&B options, six meeting rooms, four pools, a fitness center, and a nightclub. Finally, the Radisson Hotel Cairo Golf City will serve as an urban resort concept in the commercial district of Obour City. Positioned next to the neighborhood golf course, the resort will comprise 255 rooms, a fitness center, two eateries, a tea lounge, and nearly 2,300 square feet of meeting space.
The Radisson Blu Serviced Apartments Cairo Heliopolis is scheduled to open in the third quarter of this year. Housed within Cairo’s upscale Heliopolis district, the 163 apartments will complement an adjacent Radisson hotel property. Poised to become the first Radisson Collection hotel in the country, the Radisson Collection Hotel Cairo Heliopolis will open as part of a mixed-use development in the second quarter of 2021 alongside offices and retail. The hotel will span 425 guestrooms and suites and feature amenities including a fitness center, indoor and outdoor pools, and more than 21,500 square feet of meeting and event space. Also slated for arrival in 2021 is the Radisson Hotel & Resort Ain Sokhna, Egypt. The 173-room beachfront hotel will be home to a signature restaurant, nightclub, fitness center, and three outdoor pools.
