Raffles Sentosa Singapore, the country’s first all-villa resort, has officially opened.
Situated on nearly 25 acres of lush greenery on Sentosa Island—Asia’s first Global Sustainable Tourism Council-certified destination—the resort, designed by Yabu Pushelberg, reimagines the storied Raffles legacy with a contemporary, nature-driven approach.
Inside Raffles Sentosa Singapore
Perched on a hilltop, Raffles Sentosa Singapore features 62 private pool villas, ranging from a 2,600-square-foot one-bedroom retreat to the expansive 7,000-square-foot, four-bedroom Royal Villa.
Floor-to-ceiling windows frame sweeping views of the verdant surroundings, while natural materials and intricate textures blur the line between indoors and out.
The design unfolds organically, gradually immersing guests into the island’s natural landscape as they journey through each space. Embraced by a serene environment, the resort is home to majestic heritage Ficus trees and a resident muster of peacocks.
Spa and dining experiences
The Raffles Sentosa Spa, housed in a transformed heritage landmark, offers 13 treatment rooms and a modern approach to wellbeing.
Additional amenities include a fitness center, preferential green fees at the Sentosa Golf Club, and direct access to Tanjong Beach.
Culinary experiences span five restaurants and lounges, from the signature Empire Grill and Iyasaka by Hashida to the refined Chairman’s Room, a speakeasy-style bar specializing in whisky, cognac, and fine wines. Afternoon tea is served in the elegant Raffles Room as well.
The resort’s event venues, including a grand banquet space for up to 400 guests, offer a setting where nature serves as a stunning backdrop for celebrations and gatherings.
