The Rancho La Puerta spa in Tecate, Mexico, has announced it will debut three new Villas Cielo—or heavenly villas—this October. The Azul, Terra, and Verde villas will emphasize wellness and the natural beauty of the surrounding environment.
Each casita will embody an individual character and theme. Calm, soft blue details will define the water-inspired Cielo Azul; green hues will represent life and nature in Cielo Verde; and warm terracotta shades will be found in Cielo Terra. Designed by Nicole Petersen of Petersen Design Management, the villas blend traditional Mexican style with contemporary touches from local artisans, Mexican-inspired artwork, and custom furniture.
Boasting an indoor-outdoor aesthetic across 2,200 square feet, villas will feature glass doors looking out on the property’s lush gardens and private terraces with views of the surrounding mountains. Master suites will overlook flexible living rooms that can be converted into residential gyms or offices. Outdoor showers, warm saltwater dipping pools, daybeds, and hammocks will also be available.
