Regent Hotels & Resorts has expanded its footprint to the shores of Bali’s Canggu Beach with the debut of Regent Bali Canggu, an all-suites and villas resort.
A range of accommodations
Marking the brand’s first opening in Indonesia since IHG Hotels & Resorts acquired Regent in 2018, the retreat showcases discreet maximalism across 150 elegantly appointed suites and villas.
Many accommodations boast sea or garden views, direct lagoon access, and spacious layouts—starting at 818 square feet for Studio Suites, which feature hand-carved teak bathtubs and rain showers.
Meanwhile, the two-bedroom oceanfront penthouse spans an impressive 6,652 square feet, complete with a private terrace and a 322-square-foot infinity pool overlooking the Indian Ocean.
Regent Bali Canggu’s design
Designed by WATG, the 14-acre resort harmonizes with Bali’s geography and cultural heritage, incorporating timber and andesite stone to reflect the island’s natural beauty.
The interiors, courtesy of HBA, bring a refined aesthetic, incorporating natural hues, intricate textiles, and Indonesian artistry, while landscape architect John Pettigrew’s lush gardens soften the resort’s architectural lines with native plants and reclaimed materials.
F&B and other amenities
Regent Bali Canggu features five dining destinations, including signature restaurant Taru, Latin-inspired Sazón, and the forthcoming Cure.
Later this year, Regent Kids, an interactive indoor and outdoor experience, will be added, along with the first-ever Regent Spa & Wellness, launching in partnership with spa and wellbeing consultancy Raison d’Etre.
