The Cape Arundel Inn & Resort in Kennebunk, Maine, has unveiled the Rockbound Bungalows—six newly outfitted luxury guestrooms in the property’s main house, crafted by Louise Hurlbutt of locally based Hurlbutt Designs.
Influenced by the seaside locale, the Rockbound Bungalows feature soft grays and tones of sky blue and polished aqua accented with deep coral. Spanning 400 square feet each, the accommodations are outfitted with king beds crafted with metallic details, contemporary finishes, and luxurious fabrics. Hardwood flooring, velvet headboards, onyx side tables, and custom marble vanities have also been installed, as well as a breakfast bar and sitting area clad with a gas fireplace. Private balconies frame ocean views.
The resort’s Club House hosts an additional 14 rooms, a three-bedroom cottage, heated indoor pool, and library.
