As part of a multimillion-dollar vision to relaunch the Eden Rock name and property, Nobu Hotels and Eden Roc Miami Beach have plans to open the Nobu Hotel at Eden Roc Miami Beach during the second half of 2015.
Chef Nobuyuki “Nobu” Matsuhisa, Robert De Niro, and Hollywood producer Meir Teper are behind the Nobu Hotel project. This is the second U.S. hotel under the Nobu Hospitality brand and will encompass the largest Nobu restaurant and bar lounge in the world.Â
David Rockwell of the New York-based Rockwell Group is leading the design of the project’s interiors. His vision for the Nobu Hotel at Eden Roc Miami Beach is to use lush and natural materials, fused with contemporary style in a modern setting inspired by Japan as well as the beach location.Â
The new Eden Roc Miami Beach Hotel will feature a hotel within a hotel concept with Nobu Hotel at Eden Roc Miami Beach featuring 210 guestrooms; a signature Nobu restaurant and bar; an additional new beach front restaurant concept; 20,000 square feet of spa and fitness facilities; more than 70,000 square feet of meeting and event space; and two pools.
