Construction has begun on a new Hyatt Regency outpost that will be developed as part of the mixed-use Salt Lake Convention Center in the Utah capital. Slated for opening in October 2022, the $377 million Hyatt Regency Salt Lake City will occupy the site’s southeast corner and spread across 25 floors. The 700-room property will also be home to 60,000 square feet of indoor meeting spaces, in addition to 7,400 square feet of outdoor areas. A restaurant will be housed across the first floor, while the lobby, bar, fitness center, and second F&B option will be located on the structure’s sixth story.
