The Vidanta Riviera Maya has debuted Salum, the resort’s new outdoor beach market and lounge. Located on the Mexican shores of the Yucatan Peninsula and the Caribbean Sea, the bohemian-themed village is endowed with 11 F&B venues in addition to entertainment and retail space.
Indigenous materials and design elements define the open-air market, accented by local craftsmanship and handmade artwork and goods showcased across 13 pop-ups at the Mercado Mexico. The three bars include the craft brewery Huama Cerveceria, the colorful La Cantina, and the La Sombrita Beach Bar, which is accented with lounge seating, hammocks, swings, and cabanas. Featured among Salum dining concepts are Robayaki Grill & Sushi and taqueria Waves n’ Tacos, while two-story fine-dining Quinto restaurant will anchor the marketplace.
