In partnership with Fortress Investment Group, sbe has completed the $109 million financing of SLS New York, slated to open next summer.
Equity partner Moin Development, designer and longtime sbe collaborator Philippe Starck, and Dakota Development will lead the property’s conception.
The 190-room lifestyle hotel will feature the brand’s signature SBar concept in its basement with an additional rooftop bar. The hotel will also house James Beard award-winning chef José Andrés’ first New York eatery—the Bazaar by José Andrés.

Sbe currently has 11 projects in development.
