Shangri-La Hotel, Nanjing, the 88th addition to Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts, has opened in the center of the Gulou District of Nanjing city.
The 450-room Shangri-La Hotel, Nanjing overlooks Xuanwu Lake. Inside, the lobby introduces guests to a motif shown throughout the hotel—plum blossoms, which are featured in the chandeliers and paintings around the space.
Guestrooms range from 484 to 775 square feet and include 21 serviced apartments and are designed using earth tones with throw pillows and textured headboards. Other aspects of the room design include the latest technology, as well as a bathroom accented by a double vanity, separate shower, and marble flooring.
In keeping with the muted color palette, 26 contemporarily styled suites occupy between 968 and 2,809 square feet and are furnished with the modern traveler in mind. Suite guests will also have exclusive access to the Horizon Club Lounge when it is unveiled this month.
