Shangri-La Hotel, At The Shard, London is preparing to debut its three final signature suites.
The hotel’s largest suite will be the 2,023-square-foot Shangri-La suite designed by Francesca Muzio and Maria Silvia Orlandini—co-founders of Italian design atelier FM – Architettura d’Interni Studio. Located on the 39th floor of the Renzo Piano-designed skyscraper, the Shard, the suite will contain one bedroom that can connect to an adjacent room to create a two-room suite; a private lift; 180-degree views; 24-hour personal butler service; and private chauffeur service.
The room features custom furniture by FM – Architettura d’Interni Studio and high-grade silk wallpaper in a palette of champagne, citrine, and bronze. Heavy marble work is prominent in the bathroom, while additional amenities include integrated TV and mirror screens, an expansive walk-in dressing room, fine crystal glassware, and a stocked pantry.
The studio additionally designed the upcoming London and Westminster suites—which also feature custom furniture, carpets, and silks.
All three suites will be available in May.
