EVOK hôtels has introduced its third Parisian property in the Le Marais district of the city. Sinner, the new 43-key outpost from the brand, is crafted by locally based architect Tristan Auer, with elegance and provocation guaranteed to push boundaries.
A double-height bar and restaurant greet visitors in the lobby, with motifs that recall the frivolous flare of the Paris in 1970s. Vaulted archways, gothic-inspired candelabras, and stained glass windows evoke a monastic quality, while red doors outfitted with knockers and peepholes draw inspiration from carriage porches. Additional elements like chained metal piping, a candle crypt, and a cabinet of curiosities round the sexy and surprising environment. Beyond a door studded with nails lies the Albutio spa, which includes an indoor pool and a hammam.
