Six Senses Hotels Resorts Spas has announced plans to launch its first property in Switzerland in 2020. Perched in the alpine setting of Valais, the Six Senses Crans-Montana will serve visitors to the popular ski destination.
The project will emphasize sustainability by using recycled and locally sourced materials. Energy and water conservation measures will also be considered onsite along with efficient lighting, ozone protection, and black and gray water systems.
In addition to 47 guestrooms and suites, the property will house 17 Six Senses residences that span three- and four-bedrooms. A 22,000-square-foot spa will accommodate a fitness center, pool, children’s space, and a suspended relaxation area. In addition, the hotel will include two restaurants, a sun terrace, and a retail space.
