Six Senses has announced the Six Sense Shaharut will launch in Israel’s Nagev Desert in late 2018. Constructed into a dramatic cliff, the property will feature a design that not only draws inspiration from the topography and natural terrain but is also integrated into the architecture.
The LEED-certified property will span 58 suites and villas across 46.5 acres. In addition to ample outdoor space, suites will average 495 square feet, while one- and two-bedroom villas will total 1,075 and 1,600 square feet, respectively. All villas will be appointed with personal pools, while the three-bedroom presidential villa will host 4,000 square feet that includes a spa treatment room, kitchen, private poolside barbecue, and garage. Villas will be constructed using local rocks and pigments, while landscaping will include regional cacti and indigenous desert blooms. Furnishings will be sourced via partnerships with local artisans.
The signature Six Senses Spa will host single and double treatment rooms as well as male and female steam rooms, saunas, and hammams. A 53-foot-long indoor pool and an 82-foot-long outdoor lap pool will be featured alongside a fitness center, nail salon, juice bar, and yoga studio. An all-day eatery will be installed along with a poolside bar and grill as well.
