Six Senses Hotels Resorts Spas has announced that it will make its debut in South America in 2021 with the launch of the Six Senses Formosa Bay in Brazil. The hotel will arrive as part of the Eco Estrela Project, which totals nearly 4.5 coastal miles of beachfront.
Grounded in sustainable principles, the property will feature contemporary villas that consume minimal energy. Furnishings will evoke the natural world with a neutral palette splashed with accents inspired by the vibrancy of Brazilian culture. Accommodations will comprise 73 one-, two-, and three-bedroom pool villas; 54 two- and three-bedroom family villas at the heart of the property; and 58 three-, four-, and five-bedroom Six Senses Residences. Three guest facilities will be spread across the site, home to amenities including dining, bars, and the swimming pool. An onsite organic farm will also debut.
The site’s main structure will be home to dining concepts as well as the Six Senses Formosa Bay spa. The spa will include single and double treatment rooms as well as a steam, sauna, and hammam.
