Six Senses Hotels, Resorts, Spas is set to grow its European presence with the opening of the Six Senses Kocataş Mansions in Istanbul. Situated within the city’s Sariyer district, the urban concept showcases the heritage of its unique setting across two restored Ottoman-era mansions. Featuring a design initially handled by locally based Dar Architecture which has then been handed over to another local firm, EMR Design; the new property is slated to open next month.
The dual, three-level heritage mansions will accommodate 45 spacious guestrooms, all reflective of Istanbul’s rich traditional design vernacular in tandem with Six Senses’ signature contemporary lines. In addition, each property will house lounges, event spaces, and art galleries ,while F&B spaces will include the Toro Latin GastroBar, and an all-day café, Kahve, housed within a gilded hall. The new boutique concept will feature a luxury onsite fitness center as well.
