The Sofitel Mexico City Reforma has opened along the Paseo de la Reforma. Designed by the Dallas office of Wilson Associates, the property is the first luxury hotel to open in Mexico City in more than a decade.
The immersive design echoes the French roots of Sofitel, while also embracing the vibrancy of local Mexican culture. A sculptural, geometric staircase punctuates the arrival experience and promotes views of the urban backdrop.
Each of the 275 luxe guestrooms and suites are crafted with maximum functionality and floor-to-ceiling windows that frame views of the city skyline. Cool hues and accents of pink and blue convey tranquility across each accommodation, which is lined textured walls, wood panels, and marble finishes.
Located on the 37th floor, the Imperial suite comprises more than 3,300 square feet of living space, complete with a separate living room and dining room.
The city’s first L’Occitane Spa is also housed onsite and includes an indoor pool, living green walls, and a 24-hour fitness center. Plus, nearly 5,000 square feet of meeting and events space spans the hotel’s 40th floor.
