The 188-room AC Hotel Guadalajara, Jalisco—the design-driven Marriott brand’s first outpost in Mexico—has opened. Influenced by AC’s European roots, the property is crafted by Mexico City-based Sordo Madaleno Aquitectos with interiors led by Jihei Aoki.
A palette of gray and brown establishes a relaxed ambiance in guestrooms, accented by clean lines and wood floors. Minimalist furniture creates the feeling of a larger space while also emphasizing comfort and elegance.
The hotel’s F&B options include both the chic and comfortable AC Lounge and the AC Kitchen, and a 12th-floor open-air Sky Deck—also home to the fitness center—provides guests with stunning city views. An infinity-edge pool features the poolside lounge, while the hotel library features a curated literary collection.
