In partnership with the Wurzak Hotel Group and DoveHill, Starwood Hotels & Resorts is developing a dual-branded hotel in Fort Lauderdale for its Tribute Portfolio and Element brands.
Located in the city’s downtown Flagler Village district near the beach and the Greater Fort Lauderdale Convention Center, the 24-story property will include 323 rooms divided amongst two distinctly branded hotels with a rooftop bar and more than 12,000 square feet of ground-floor retail space. The Wurzak Hotel Group will manage both hotels.
A shared street-level entrance will lead to a vestibule with elevators connected to both the 209-room Tribute Portfolio hotel and the 114-room Element hotel. The hotels will share a selection of facilities such as a sky lobby and bar on level seven, a fitness center, a rooftop pool, a parking deck, and a restaurant accessible from the lobby. The Element hotel will offer light-filled studios with modular furniture and spa-inspired bathrooms.
To begin construction this fall, the property will open in the spring of 2017.
