The Hotel Joaquin is slated to arrive this summer along the coast of Laguna Beach, California. Part of the Auric Road’s petite resort collection, the forthcoming hotel will feature chic but playful design from New York-based Studio Robert McKinley.
The 22-room private beach retreat will be outfitted with sensory-focused details that weave a soulful narrative reflective of the Auric brand. Anchored by a serene pool, the resort will evoke laidback luxury with bespoke touches that mirror the aesthetic of the coast. To reinforce its natural setting, accommodations are free of TVs and appointed with elements including vinyl record players. An island-style sense of hospitality will steer the spirit of the property, while a Mediterranean influence will be evident in the cuisine of the sea-centric signature restaurant.
