Hotel chain 25hours has selected Gothenburg, Sweden-based Stylt Trampoli to design the 25hours Düsseldorf, which will be the newest addition to its portfolio of seven hotels in Germany, Switzerland, and Austria.
“This is an incredibly exciting development for us,” says Stylt’s founder and creative director Erik Nissen Johansen. “25hours has been at the top of our list of dream collaborations since forever—we feel that Stylt and 25hours are a real match made in heaven.” The firm is the first from outside of Germany to design a hotel for the chain.
The hotel is located in Düsseldorf’s Quartier Central area and will feature a German-and-French-inspired design as the brand develops its properties to reflect their locations. Locally referred to as Das Tour (“the tower” in English), it will be the area’s tallest building.
The 25hours Düsseldorf is scheduled to open in the spring of 2018.
