All-inclusive boutique surf resort Malibu Popoyo has debuted on Nicaragua’s Costa Esmeralda. With a mission to restore the mind, body, and soul, the immersive resort is crafted by the property’s previous owners—Dennis and Saskia Nadi. The resort will undergo an expansion in spring 2019.
Interiors of the resort’s six guestrooms are adorned with a natural, raw materiality as well as organic linens and culturally significant elements that evoke both minimalism and luxury. Three of the six existing guestrooms feature a loft area appointed with an additional queen bed, high ceilings, and sliding windows to infuse natural light and maintain a connection to the surrounding, natural splendor.
Six additional accommodations will be added during the hotel’s expansion along with an upgraded spa experience, beachfront bar, and a new beachfront area featuring a yoga palapa that will also double as an entertainment site. Current onsite amenities include a lounge area with a pool and pool bar.
