Auberge Resorts Collection has announced the groundbreaking of Susurros del Corazón, a new luxury resort concept in Punta de Mita, Mexico. Slated to arrive in late 2020, the resort will be spread across 33 lush, rolling acres that overlook the Bay of Baderas on Mexico’s Pacific Coast. Dallas-based firm Paul Duesing Partners will oversee the interior design with Santa Monica, California-based practice Studio Collective handling F&B concepts.
In addition to 30 residences, the 59-suite resort will be crafted with a boho-chic aesthetic inspired by the quaint, coastal surf towns throughout the country. Floor-to-ceiling windows will frame natural views and illuminate the contemporary interiors, which will feature elements such as artisanal wallcoverings and local artwork. The open, airy living spaces will seamlessly connect to the outdoors with expansive patios endowed with bars, private pools, and Jacuzzis.
The resort will be oriented around three scallop-shaped pools that overlook the property’s 1,850 linear feet of beach. Additional amenities will include a 3,000-square-foot fitness center and yoga studio, children’s club, 4,600 square feet of event space, and an Auberge Spa, which comprises 11 treatment rooms within a lush garden setting. Among the four onsite F&B options, the resort’s signature indoor-outdoor restaurant will maximize ocean views and offer alfresco seating beneath large palms.
