The Galt House Hotel in Louisville, Kentucky has joined Wyndham Hotel Group’s Trademark Collection, becoming the largest single property in Wyndham’s North American portfolio. The 1,310-room hotel will also undergo an $80 million facelift this June courtesy of locally based firms Knorman Berry Associates Architects and Swope Design Group. It is slated to unveil its renovations in early 2020.
Spread across two towers, the property will be reimagined with a fresh new look and furnishings and finishes inspired by the food, bourbon, horses, and colors of Kentucky. Three new restaurants will round out the onsite F&B lineup to 10, further reflecting the blended onsite aesthetic of Midwestern flair and Southern charm.
