The Beverly Hilton hotel is set to reveal its $35 million renovations in April 2020 in time to commemorate the property’s 65th anniversary. Led by Dallas-based firm Paul Duesing Partners, the redesign will infuse a narrative of midcentury-inspired sophistication and modern comfort that echoes the influence of classic Hollywood Regency style. The comprehensive updates will also aim to reinforce the connection between indoor-outdoor spaces, as well as supporting sustainability efforts.
The hotel’s warm and inviting accommodations will reflect a residential-style quality and will be via floor-to-ceiling windows framing views of the Los Angeles cityscape. Crafted to embody energetic modernism, guestrooms will be infused with teal and champagne tones alongside notes of high-gloss white and luminous metallics, while also echoing the opulence of the poolside cabanas. The hotel’s crown jewel, the Presidential suite will embrace a palette of more daring tones such as burgundy and gold, which will be accented by dark wood and heavy fabrics to serve as a backdrop for contemporary furnishings.
