Slated to open its doors late next month, the Hoxton, Portland in Oregon will become the brand’s sixth international hotel and its second North American property, following the opening of the Hoxton, Williamsburg in September. The Portland property will be crafted by inhouse Ennismore Design Studio in homage to Northwest modernist styles.
Opening in the city’s Old Town Chinatown, the property occupies 1906-era building with original timber columns, exposed brick walls, and reclaimed timber floors. Bespoke geometric tiling will punctuate the interior alongside colorful walls adorned with artwork and fluted leather benches. The ground floor will also be home to Mexican-inspired dining concept La Neta, while the naturally the rooftop taqueria Tope will boast greenery, concrete walls, and patterned upholstery. A basement cocktail bar will be featured onsite as well.
Four configurations will span the 119 guestrooms. Each accommodation will also be clad with rich timber paneling, pink marble, brass feature lighting, and floor-to-ceiling windows.
