In celebration of its 25th anniversary, the Lansdowne Resort in Leesburg, Virginia will undergo an expansive renovation including a complete redesign of the resort’s 296 guestrooms. The inspiration for the redesign was derived from the Virginia wine country that surrounds the 476-acre estate, and was conceived in partnership with Scottsdale-based Monogram Hospitality Interiors. The renovation will be completed this spring.
The color palette of the new guestrooms revolves around soft, earth-toned colors that capture the essence of wine country. Furniture and décor also pay homage to the vineyards, with wine cask nightstands, glasses made from recycled wine bottles, and a bar cart for a minibar. Artwork depicts bucolic images of the farms and vineyards in the area and is ensconced in a frame made from wine corks.
In the 1,000-square-foot presidential suite, wood flooring and custom handmade area rugs add to the country aesthetic. The suite has also been upgraded to include 55″ LCD screens for private business conferences, as well as dressing tables and full-length mirrors.
The Lansdowne Resort also features a 45-hole championship golf course, as well as a full-service spa, five swimming pools, a health and fitness center and multiple dining options. It also includes 55,000 square feet of meeting space, a 9,525-square-foot grand ballroom, the 3,293-square-foot Terrace ballroom, and a 126-seat amphitheater. The Northern Virginia estate is easily accessible from the DC metropolitan area.
