The 5-Star Leeu House, part of the Leeu Collection, has opened in Franschhoek, South Africa.
The boutique hotel sits within walking distance of restaurants, art galleries, and other leisure attractions.
The property was inspired by traditional Cape Dutch architecture with a French Huguenot style, evoking a country guesthouse ambiance. Neutral interiors encompass a series of 12 individually styled accommodations, while onsite gardens showcase locally and internationally inspired modern art, a 50-foot heated outdoor pool, and a shaded terrace.
Hotel F&B concepts include the Conservatory; al fresco eatery the Terrace; and the Lounge, which features plush seating, an open wood-burning fireplace, and views of the secluded gardens.
Additional amenities include complimentary bicycle rentals, spa facilities, and access to the company’s nearby Leeu Estates, which is slated to open next June.
The property is the second to join the Leeu Collection portfolio, which added Le Quartier Français, also in Franschhoek, this past September.
