Brown Hotels has opened its largest property to date in the heart of Tel Aviv. Designed by Argentinian-Israeli architect Nestor Sandbank, the Lighthouse hotel makes a Brutalist architectural statement in a revitalized section of the Israeli capital.
Housed within a restored office volume from the 1970s, the hotel welcomes visitors with a lively lobby equipped with a library wall and rich navy and emerald tones. Playful accents also include a birdcage swing, gold-plated elements, and colorful furnishings. Amenities featured onsite include two pools, a fitness center, and a conference center as well. In addition to a restaurant on the fifth floor and two cocktail bars, the Lighthouse will showcase Haiku, a new nightlife concept on the rooftop.
Up to 300 square feet in size, accommodations include 12 terrace rooms with private balconies, outdoor Jacuzzis, and lush greenery. Twelve additional junior and executive suites feature separate seating areas as well. All guestrooms are adorned with bright, wooden wall panels that complement light carpeting and hardwoods. Two floors will be opened at a later date, rounding out the room count to 160.
