The Lodge at Sea Island has unveiled its newly completed renovations, which includes six new guest cottages and an 18-hole putting course. Set along the coast of Sea Island, Georgia, the property invested more than $25 million in updates.
The six new cottages house a combined 14 new bedrooms, all of which are positioned with Atlantic Ocean views. Each cottage is crafted with wide plank hardwood, iron lighting, and fireplaces to convey a sense of warmth across cozy living spaces. Elegant furnishings populate each bedroom along with local artwork, custom casegoods, and white marble bathrooms. New amenities include an oceanfront pool and pool house with double fireplaces, a wraparound porch, and an indoor-outdoor event space. The resort is also slated to add a new, 17,000-square-foot Golf Performance early next year to replace the existing facility with six instruction and fitting bays, a putting studio, workshop, fitness center, and retail.
The latest updates arrive on the heels on the completion of three new guestrooms in the adjoining parlor in the main building, as well as the expansion of the Trophy Room.
