The Oberoi Group has announced that its new property in the northern Indian city of Chandigrah, the Oberoi Sukhvilas Resort & Spa, is on track to open this summer. The resort will be the first of three luxury properties debuting under the brand this year, alongside locations in Marrakech and the UAE.
The spa resort is situated at the heart of more than 8,000 acres of natural protected forest. Traditional Indian pavilions have been incorporated into the design with landscaped courtyards, ornate water features, and modern detailing. Lodging encompasses 60 generously sized villas, guestrooms, or tents. Each guestroom and villa, featuring handcrafted design, will boast enhanced technological perks and a private, temperature-controlled pool.
Surrounded by forest on three sides, the secluded spa will house hydrotherapy, steam, and sauna rooms, a Turkish hammam, and a Roman tepidarium. The spa will be adorned with decorative glass, fire, and water features.
Located only 30 minutes away from the heart of the city, the resort also features the brand’s signature indoor and al fresco dining options.
