The Preserve Sporting Club & Resort has completed its $88 million Cozy Cabin Village expansion, growing the development to 60 luxury tiny homes.
The four-season destination, located within 3,500 acres of protected wilderness in Rhode Island, added 48 newly constructed homes to its original collection of 12.
Set atop scenic Blueberry Hill, the Cozy Cabin Village has direct access to the resort’s extensive programming as well as the property’s new Event Barn, which features 10 meeting spaces and capacity for up to 450 guests.
Additional tiny homes in the Cozy Cabin Village

The expansion introduces two new chalet-style designs, bringing the total number of cabin configurations to nine. Ranging from 400 to 1,200 square feet, the cabins are fully outfitted with kitchens, living areas, and lofted sleeping spaces.
Among the new offerings, the Grandview Cabin boasts expansive glazing that frames forest views, shiplap walls, slanted ceilings, hardwood floors, quartz countertops, and custom furnishings. Each unit also includes a private outdoor deck intended to extend living space into the surrounding landscape.
Durable exteriors with pared back interiors

Architecture for the Cozy Cabin Village was developed by the Preserve’s owner Paul Mihailides and TLA Architecture‘s Thomas Lonardo and Don Leighton. The homes are strategically oriented to capture both sunrise and sunset views, setting a strong visual connection to the property’s rolling terrain. Exterior materials were selected for durability and performance, including custom fiberglass siding engineered to resemble the texture of natural tree bark.
Sustainability and efficiency are central to the design approach, with units equipped with spray-foam insulation, thermal paint coatings, and high-performance 24 SEER HVAC systems.
Interiors were designed by Liv Creative Interiors’ Marie Simone, who leaned into a restrained palette of whites and earth tones, layering in natural textures and subtle references to the surrounding wilderness. The result is a calm, light-filled interior environment that balances modern comfort with rustic sensibility.
Beyond the Cozy Cabin Village, the Preserve’s accommodations portfolio includes townhomes, glamping options, the Hilltop Lodge & Spa boutique hotel, and a forthcoming eight-person Hobbit Home (slated to open this year). Dining experiences range from Double Barrel Steak to Hobbit House private dinners.
