Hilton has announced the forthcoming launch of a South Florida hotel project with commercial real estate developer, owner, and manager Menin. Slated to open this summer, the Ray Hotel Delray Beach, Curio Collection by Hilton will evoke tropical luxury through a modern, LEED Gold-certified design by Miami-based firm González Architects that features living walls and a lush tree canopy. The interior design is a collaborative effort by Studio Munge, Virserius Studio, and Celano Design.
“As we continue to expand on our strong presence in the South Florida market, we are thrilled to introduce the Curio Collection by Hilton brand to Delray Beach,” says Jenna Hackett, global brand head of Curio Collection by Hilton. “The Ray Hotel Delray Beach will undoubtedly attract travelers, locals, and visitors from the surrounding drive markets eager to experience an elevated level of personalized service and unrivaled accommodations when they visit the new discovered treasure of Delray Beach.”
Studio Munge is overseeing the design of classic American concept Ember Grill, while Celano Design is crafting Akira Back, a multisensory Asian fusion dining experience. The lobby bar and coffee shop Stingers is being designed by Virserius Studio, which will also spearhead guestroom designs. The hotel’s 141 guestrooms and suites will be equipped with balconies that tether the modern eclectic aesthetic to the beachfront. Custom furniture will be installed upon handwoven rugs illuminated by large pendant light fixtures
Included among more than 45,000 square feet of indoor-outdoor meeting and event space housed onsite, the 22,000-square-foot rooftop, envisioned by Studio Munge, will be equipped with a floating glass cube that’s easily customizable to accommodate a range of programming. The Rosewater Rooftop will feature a pool, as well as abundant greenery and lounge areas shaded by oversized umbrellas, trellises, and pergolas.
