The Sarasota Moden – A Tribute Portfolio Hotel is set to debut in late 2018 within the downtown Rosemary District of the South Florida city. The 89-room luxury boutique concept will be crafted in collaboration with locally based Hoyt Architects, Boston-based architect Stephen Chung, and students from the Sarasota School of Architecture.
The property injects a European sensibility into Florida’s Gulf Coast, while also embracing an ethos inspired by 1940s modernism. Designed with clean white walls, natural wood details, and floor-to-ceiling windows, the hotel will seamlessly blend indoor-outdoor living with amenities such as two aqua pools, a hot tub, and private white cabanas. In addition to 10,000 square feet of meeting space, the hotel will boast a spa and new eatery Rudolph’s. Guestrooms will be appointed with private, outdoor clawfoot tubs surrounded by lush greenery.
