Women-focused coworking brand the Wing has launched its new headquarters in New York’s East Village. Housed within a historic, 22,000-square-foot building, the in-house design team led by Laetitia Gorra updated the space with whimsical and feminist touches reminiscent of its coworking spaces.
Spread across all four floors, the new headquarters is home to more than 150 members of the company’s staff, who were previously located across several Manhattan buildings. Similar to existing Wing outposts, the new location’s communal workspaces are populated with custom ergonomic furniture, while amenities include a lactation room, kitchen, and quiet room.
Signature branded wallpaper and tiles also adorn the space, which is naturally illuminated via high ceilings outfitted with skylights. In addition to an outdoor space and patio, 10 conference rooms are distinguished with names inspired by gaming (Ms. Pac-Man), literature (The Baby-Sitter’s Club), and historic educational institutions like Radcliffe College.
