The Grand Summit Hotel, Canyons Village in Park City, Utah will undergo a $15 million renovation this spring. The extensive renovation will coincide with the property’s rebranding under the RockResorts banner.
The revamp will see the overhaul of all 212 suites, including upgraded interior finishes, furnishings, artwork, and technology. Improvements to the onsite spa, café, general store, conference and meeting spaces, and communal spaces, including the lobby and front desk, will be overseen by Boulder, Colorado-based TRH Interior Design.
The alpine setting will inform the new color palette, featuring rich greens, coppers, and golden-tans reminiscent of trees, the sky, mountains, and rivers. Warmth will be injected via new textures and materials such as porcelain, slate, and stainless steel outfitted in bathrooms along with updated light fixtures. New artwork will also highlight the history of Park City and deliver lively splashes of color.
