Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide has planned a multimillion-dollar refresh for Avenue of the Arts Hotel Costa Mesa in California by Los Angeles-based Dianna Wong Architecture & Interior Design. The property will join the Tribute Portfolio when it reopens next spring.
Located in Orange County’s performing arts district, the 238-room hotel’s guestrooms will feature hardwood floors, granite bathrooms, and an overarching aesthetic rooted in the Art Nouveau and Art Deco movements.
Amenities will include a pool with private cabanas, the full-service Silver Trumpet Restaurant and Bar, a fitness center, whirlpool, sauna, along with seven meeting rooms totaling 6,800 square feet with a 15-seat executive boardroom and a 3,400-square-foot Grand Ballroom.
The three-acre property is the brand’s second in California, following the recent addition of Riviera Palm Springs.
