Hilton has kicked off a month of groundbreaking celebrations for its Tru by Hilton brand. The construction on a new property in Lancaster, Pennsylvania is the first of 10 groundbreakings by the brand in the next 30 days in places including Texas, Mississippi, Iowa, South Carolina, Alabama, and Virginia.
Tru by Hilton’s new locations will feature efficiently designed guestrooms and reimagined public spaces. Open lobbies will house four designated zones for lounging, working, eating, and playing. Amenities will cater to an array of generations.
The month of groundbreakings will bump the brand’s portfolio up to 13. Tru by Hilton’s first new hotel is expected to open in the summer of 2017 in Oklahoma City.
