The Tru by Hilton brand has rolled out updated prototype designs that improve upon its signature guestrooms and lobbies. The company collaborated with Cincinnati-based design practice FRCH as well.
Guestroom enhancements include new bedside and workspace lighting as well as increased storage and hanging capacity. New mobile desks and media areas establish a larger and more flexible in-room work surface. Wall-mounted TVs will come equipped with sound absorption features.
Lobbies have also been redesigned without sacrificing their 2,800-square-foot layouts and four signature spaces—the Eat, Work, Lounge, and Play areas. To further optimize the lobby, the space will now replace stadium-style seating with large sectional sofas that partition table gaming and board games. Tru by Hilton has also launched elevated breakfast offerings as part of its updated prototype concepts.
