The ViewFort Estate of Anguilla is heralding its return from a six-month renovation with the reopening of its villa. After incurring damage from Hurricane Irma in September 2017, the property is reclaiming its post on the destination island with a refresh from Rosa and Juan Acevedo of RA Architects-Interiors.
Situated upon the highest point in Anguilla, the villa is framed with rock walls that accentuate the 200-year-old structure. Each of the villa’s nine suites overlook the Caribbean Sea, Atlantic Ocean, and the neighboring islands and cays of Anguilla. Separated by green lawns on the lower level of the estate, villa suites boast outdoor terraces and spaces for private dining and lounging, while the Main House’s suites embrace luxury with elements such as a commercial-sized kitchen, library, living room, and indoor dining. Designed to evoke warmth and serenity, the villa is equipped with an infinity pool that spills out into two oversized Jacuzzis surrounded by oceanfront.
