An immersive boutique nursery focused on English teaching has opened in the Nanshan District of Shenzhen, China. Located within the headquarters of Alibaba Group, the Insight Academy is crafted by locally based VMDPE Design, which specializes in high-end spaces for children’s education.
Balancing fun and comfort, the interiors accommodate a range of kid’s learning styles to promote more organic communication and socialization between student groups through its scenario-based design. The layout for the boutique educational concept is halved into dual classrooms equipped for eight students each. Both areas include activity spaces and are linked to each other through sliding doors, while a street-interactive window device doubles as a blackboard for more effective teaching experience.
