The newly debuted VP Plaza España Design 5* has arrived in Madrid as the flagship property of VP Hoteles. Crafted by Spanish practice B720 architects’ studio along with Cuarto Interior and Studio Gronda, the hotel is adorned with artful elements.
The 214-room property is outfitted with more than 15,000 square feet of meeting space, accommodating groups of up to 650 people. Spread across 17 floors, guestrooms range in size from 290 to 665 square feet, with the 1,300-square-foot presidential suite boasting a private gym and an eight-person meeting room.
F&B venues include the ground-floor restaurant Botania and the Gingko Sky Bar on the 12th floor, which provides 360-degree panoramic views of the city. The 12th floor’s heated outdoor pool is positioned to appear as if it cascades into the main atrium through a fluid sculpture that splashes down to the lobby. Along with a business and fitness center, a 1,300-square-foot wellness center and spa on the first floor is outfitted with three treatment rooms.
