W Hotels Worldwide has announced the signing of its first Brazilian property. Slated to arrive in 2021, the W São Paulo will be crafted by Nini Andrade Silva in collaboration with W’s in-house design team. The design will pay homage to local culture and the spirited Brazilian population, while also harmonizing with the city’s modernist architecture vernacular.
Home to 179 luxe guestrooms, including two signature Wow suites and an Extreme Wow Suite, the W São Paulo will feature two restaurants, one of which will maximize sweeping urban views thanks to its rooftop location. The signature Living Room lobby bar will welcome visitors along with vibrant tropical gardens on the ground floor, while the Fit center and the expansive Wet pooldeck will round out the onsite amenities. More than 16,000 square feet of meeting space will be housed onsite as well.
